With a blog makeover, I thought it was only relevant to write a brand new post on a brand new design.
Another successful Liverpool Fashion Week came to its end on Thursday night, after 4 days of established designers, new talent and exhibitors, the sixth edition of the city’s annual style showcase drew to a conclusion, a stylish conclusion to say the least.
The event featured a range of talent, from local designers to established brand outlets, all of which put on a stylish event. The collections ranged from sophisticated and elegant, to risqué and ribald pieces. As my previous post looks into the event’s launch night, I thought I’d give you a recap into the rest of the week if you couldn’t make it or didn’t catch any of the collections (or if you’re completely unaware of Liverpool’s Fashion Week, you may want to read also).
So after a jam-packed month of unforgettable S/S 2016 collections from the fashion capitals of the world, it is time to calm ourselves down after the overwhelming excitement and hand it over to the smaller cities of the UK to see what they have to offer. With Manchester just coming to an end, it is time for my home city of Liverpool to take to the catwalk.
I have long been an admirer of Australian fashion house Zimmermann. It is certainly one of Australia’s finest designers and somehow manages to get it right every single time.
Spring/Summer’s 2016 collection was no exception and is everything a spring collection should be. Nicky and Simone Zimmermann wanted to create a “very mischievous” collection this spring, and as a result, we have got the unbelievably dreamy, romantic and feminine creation that graced the runway on the second day of NYFW.
Another day, another jam-packed schedule of Spring/Summer 2016 collections.
Now as a lover of all things monochrome, Victoria Beckham is a huge inspiration, minimalistic yet still so effective and to say I was excited to see her new collections would be an understatement.
With enviable front row seats, the Beckham clan presence was cut down to just two, David and Brooklyn, sat in their usual places next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer.
New York Fashiok Week is in full swing, but I can’t lie and say I haven’t been counting down the days until the Givenchy show took place and it was nothing shy of extraordinary!
So everyone is hyped up after Kim Kardashian was pictured leaving Royal Monceau Hotel on her way to PFW’s Balmain show with blonde hair – like, really blonde hair.
We’ve seen blonde on Kimmy K before in the past, but not like this, and I’m not sure whether it’s one her best look, but then again, she’s not exactly boasting with titles of ‘best dressed’ lately.
But whilst everyone is fixated on Kim’s new do’, everybody was missing Balmain’s vibrant (to say the least) show, and not to mention the best Fashion Week model line up so far!
The 87th Annual Oscars are over. The weeks of excitement we all spent talking about who would wear what – and the awards of course (not really), are now no secret, but that doesn’t mean we won’t continue to talk about it for weeks later.
